Does the Universe Have a Purpose?

Neil DeGrasse Tyson has expressed that the universe has no purpose. He recently took this thought a step further in saying, “Anyone who expresses a more definitive response to the question is claiming access to knowledge not based upon empirical foundations.” Hugh Ross and Kenneth Samples join Lauren Green of FOX’s A Spirited Debate to discuss the importance of both empirical and nonempirical evidence, and whether science does indeed provide tangible evidence for purpose.
